The Associaton of Białystok Functional Area consists of: the capital of the Podlaskie Voivodeship - the city of Białystok and 9 communes belonging to the Białystok Powiat, including the urban-rural communes of: Choroszcz, Czarna Białostocka, Łapy, Supraśl, Wasilków, Zabłudów and the rural communes of: Dobrzyniewo Duże, Juchnowiec Kościelny, Turośń Kościelna.
