The publication was prepared by the Statistical Office in Bialystok in cooperation with the Białystok Functional Area Association. It presents data from various fields of social, economic and spatial statistics concerning the city of Bialystok and 9 neighbouring municipalities, forming the Bialystok Functional Area (BFA). The publication contains data presented in the form of analytical commentary (supplemented with maps and charts) and tables. Data for the Bialystok Functional Area is presented against the background of Podlaskie Voivodeship and broken down into communes, with a particular focus on the city of Białystok. They mainly concern the year 2020, while the most important ones are also presented in relation to previous years - including 2014, i.e. the first year of the Association's existence.
